The Institute of Civil and Rural Engineering, Kolhapur (ICRE) is a technical institution that was set up in 1957. This affiliated college is at Murlidhar Nagar, Gargoti, Bhudargad, Kolhapur, Maharashtra in India and is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Covering a total area of 10 acres, ICRE is an institution that has been offering diploma courses in a variety of engineering streams. Currently, ICRE offers five diploma courses , each focused on specialised fields of engineering, meeting the needs of aspiring technicians and engineers.

Physical infrastructure includes information technology, which is relevant to the contemporary learning requirements, and sports amenities that promote sporting activities. Furthermore, there are ATM facilities available on campus for the banking facilities of the clients and others.
The Institute of Civil and Rural Engineering, Kolhapur, offers its potential students five full-time engineering diploma courses: Electrical Engineering , Civil and Rural, Computer Engineering etc. Such programmes are intended to equip the students with adequate knowledge and skills that will enable them to pursue respected careers in their chosen areas.
It offers 360 total student capacity across all courses to ensure that this institute maintains an appropriate student-faculty ratio for learning.
