The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Yamunanagar (IHM Yamunanagar), established in 2015, is an autonomous institution in Village-Bhamboli, Yamunanagar, Haryana. It is established under the Department of Tourism, Government of Haryana, sponsored jointly by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and the Department of Tourism, Haryana.
It is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). The campus is spread across a 5-acre campus, and it offers specialised programmes in hotel management and culinary arts. IHM Yamunanagar ensures personalised attention and quality education, offering courses in hospitality, hotel administration, food production, and bakery and confectionery.
IHM Yamunanagar provides modern facilities, including well-equipped classrooms with audiovisual aids, a computer lab with the latest software, and internet connectivity. Practical training is provided in a 200-seat dining hall attached to the Quantity Food Kitchen (QFK). The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls. It also has facility of sports facilities, a health centre, and an auditorium for events.
The institute's flagship programme is the B. Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration with 100 seats. It also offers two diploma programmes: Diploma in Food Production and Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery, each with 40 seats. The B. Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration is offered for duration of three years.
The Diploma in Food Production and Diploma in Bakery and Confectionary is offered for duration of 1 year and 6 months in full time mode. Admissions for the B. Sc programme are based on the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination ( NCHM JEE ).
