IMS was established in the year 1990 situated in Adhyatmik Nagar,Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) is one of the leading institute in education sector. Which also goes by the name IMS Ghaziabad UC or IMS UC is an affiliated college with a vast 2. 6 acres area it occupies.

Having 2130 total students and enrolling 60 faculty members, IMS functions as a broad university offering 7 different types of courses in 6 degree programmes.

One among the major strengths of IMS Ghaziabad UC is that the institution has spacious and meaningful built-in infrastructure required to boost up the reputation of the university across the country and also provides tremendous and all rounding facilities to its students. Established it has a rich library with more than 10,000 books, 50 international and national Journals, and 35 magazines/ newspapers.

Students also have free access for full text through Ebsco, journal articles through ICFAI University Press, project optimisation through IEEE, J-gate and DELNET. The IT infrastructure comprises of many programmes such as Tally ERP 9, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and others.

To the bio-science learners the college provides well-equipped laboratories with Gel Documentation Systems, PCR machines, and UV-VIS Spectrophotometres among others. The campus also has facility of having different hostels for boys and girls having the amenities of Wi-Fi, reading rooms and sports facilities. In total the institute provides 7 courses which are all delivered as full-time programmes.

These are Undergraduate programmes: BBA, BCA, BJMC, B. Sc Biotechnology (Hons), B. Sc Microbiology (Hons) and Postgraduate programmes. Special emphasis is placed on the acquisition of academic and vocational knowledge by students to meet the requirement of their professions.

Sc B. Sc in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Agriculture with 50% B. Sc Hons.

10+2 in PCM/PCB with 45% Admission to this Institute IMS Ghaziabad UC depends on the course type. In the following BBA, BCA and BJMC, the admissions are done based on merit and interview.
