IITM, Sonipat was established in the year 2010 as an affiliated college in Murthal, Sonipat, Haryana. IITM Sonepat provides different courses of Engineering, Management, and Vocational Studies on a spread of 13 acres of area. The institute has total number of faculty member is 56 . The institute is approved by AICTE and has 867 students on its rolls in 18 courses and 6 degree programs.

IITM Sonepat does provide all the facilities that can upgrade the learning experience for its students. Separate hostels have been there for boys and girls; mess facilities are available in both, and each one has been provided with common rooms as well.
