Irinjalakuda Cooperative School of Nursing, Thrissur

The Irinjalakuda Cooperative School of Nursing located at Thrissur, Kerala started in 2004 is a college exclusively for nursing courses in Kerala state of India. This is a co-educational institute situated in Kolothumpady, Nadavarmbara P. O It was approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) which makes sure that the nursing stream is given proper standard training.

This school has a small area of only five acres and accepts 50 total students with 7 faculties. Irinjalakuda Cooperative School of Nursing boasts of providing various extra-curricular amenities for the improvement of learning for the students. The campus boasts of a library with adequate book stocking sufficiently equipping the students with nursing literature.

In a bid to support the health of its students and staffs who have interest in sports and athletics, the institute provides sports grounds and gym to supplement more on the students’ academic activities, nutrition and health. Irinjalakadu Cooperative School of Nursing offers at present only one full time course that is GNM full time course. This course is a three year diploma course and aims to ensure students are well equipped when joining the nursing profession.
