Islamia Teacher's Training B. Ed. College, Phulwarisharif, Patna, Bihar was established in the year 1986 as one of the major teacher training Institutes. Co-educational university affiliated, NCTE-approved college, has a compact campus covering an area of 0. 6876 acres. Presently, it offers just one course at B. Ed. level. It is a course with the enrolment capacity of 250 students in total.

There are 37 dedicated teachers in the institute to maintain a healthy student-teacher ratio so that each and every student who aspires to become a teacher gets proper attention and quality education. Various facilities have been provided within the college to meet all the required needs of imparting education.

There is a well-stacked library functioning as a knowledge hub, while at the same time the state-of-the-art IT infrastructure will ensure that the students remain updated with the latest technological revolution in education. This institution has separate hostel accommodations meant to be provided to both boys and girls to ensure comfortable living conditions for the out-of-station students.

The Islamia Teacher's Training B. Ed. College runs a two-year comprehensive Bachelor of Education course ( B. Ed ). The programme is so structured that during these two years of the course of study, students will have both theoretical and practical inputs, which would together help them emerge as successful teachers. College are made on the basis of merit considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and Entrance Examination. Admission shall be governed by policies adopted by the State Government of Bihar or affiliating university, as the case may be.
