Islamic Oriental College, Tral

Islamic Oriental College, Tral recognised in 1965, is an affiliated College situated in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The five and half decade old co educational institution has been imparting education to the students of the region. The college has 81 students enroled, and faculty members as 12 The college provides a small academic environment.

There are plenty of facilities available at Islamic Oriental College campus which help in improving the condition of students. One of them is girls’ hostel, it is a two storied building consisting of twenty-two rooms intended for females, especially students from the Kashmir area. The modern hostel building occupying 4 kanal of the territory creates the necessary conditions for study and leisure.

In regards to health emergencies there is a first aid facility that is manned by a qualified nurse and medical and dental check-ups are carried out by qualified physicians to college student.

Transport facilities are also provided by the college and number of boats, jeeps and taxis facilitate various routes such as Tral, Awantipora, Sangam (Bijbehara) so that students feel more comfortable and staff also prefers these facilities. Presently, Islamic Oriental College Tral offers only one full time course BA Fazila with total 40 seats.

This duration of the programme is for three years and aims at giving the students a knowledge of Islamic and Oriental studies. The admission process is simple in Islamic Oriental College, Tral and they are only offering BA Fazila programme.
