Ithaya Jyothi College of Nursing, Tirunelveli, was started in the year 2011 to fulfil the needs of the nursing education in Tamil Nadu. Since its inception, this affiliated college has been approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and aims at offering quality nursing education for female students only. Located in an area of 18.

1 acres, the college has a total admission of 187 students and employs a faculty of 27 on its campus. There is only one course offered at Ithaya Jyothi College of Nursing, which is a B. Sc Nursing that comes with a nursing care speciality.
