Jamia Nadwiyya Training College, Edavanna

Jamia Nadwiyya Training College, Edavanna was established in 1995 and is affiliated with the university Malappuram,Kerala. This teacher training institution accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) provides two professional course in education. Located on a limited area of 3 acres, BAC has a total of 99 students and as many as 8 faculties in its service.

Jamia Nadwiyya Training College is marking its excellence in the educational system by offering B. Ed and other D. El. Ed courses for the learners those who are interested to become a teacher. The facilities available in the college include; Among them are; An educational library stocked with 7200 books provides the need facilities for academic study and research.

The campus has smart classes which makes it easy for the students and tutors to teach and learn. For practical’s sake, the college possesses departmental laboratory. They also use the college sports facility for exercises and other needs in as much as recreation is concerned. The institution offers student care and health with first aid services offered at a health centre.

Further to this, the hostel sections for the male and female students are available with 10 camp and 20 camp for those students who need to be accommodated within the compound. The courses offered here are two full time teacher education courses by Jamia Nadwiyya Training College.

The Bachelor of Education has an intake capacity of one hundred students and Diploma in Elementary Education has an intake capacity of fifty students. Each of the educational programmes described is intended to be satisfactorily pursued in two years’ time, so as to effectively prepare future educators.

The total intakes of the college have been fixed up to 150 students that seems strategic enough to maintain a selective and quality logo on its educational matrix. In terms of admission at Jamia Nadwiyya Training College, the college has provision of admitting students based on the marks obtained both in the qualifying published examination and or entrance examination where and when applicable.
