Janta Mahavidyalaya, Chandra Nagar, was established in 2002 as an affiliated college in Dibiyapur, Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh. This institution, located on the Kanpur Road, has been working wholeheartedly for more than two decades to fulfill the educational needs of the entire region. It is NCTE-approved and offers a B. Ed. programme with teacher education as its specialisation.

With 15 dedicated educators, Janta Mahavidyalaya moves with passion towards building the future of aspiring teachers. Janta Mahavidyalaya has within its fold a host of facilities that improve the learning experience of the students studying here.

While the library has been designed so as to uphold NCTE standards with regard to its stock of books, it houses a wide range of educational journals, periodicals, and other reference texts. This room has an intake capacity of 70 and provides an ideal atmosphere in order to study and perform research work.

The institution also assure well supplied science and psychology laboratories that would provide practical exposure to its students. The college contains an auditorium that acts as the central point for conducting seminars and cultural programmes for extracurricular activities and events.

The campus life is again improved by a cafeteria, a health centre with first aid facilities, and sports amenities including both indoor and outdoor game facilities. Its commitment towards the all-round development of the students can be seen from the fact that it provides a gym and sufficient playground space to play sports of various types.

As far as academic offerings are concerned, Janta Mahavidyalaya focuses on providing quality teacher education. This college offers just one full-time course, Bachelor of Education programme (B. Ed). The said two-year programme has an intake capacity of 100 students, thereby showing the infrastructure and other specifications that would help the institution build a large number of future teachers per year.

The course is meant to uplift learners with the pedagogical knowledge and skills necessary for effective teaching. Their admission process into Janta Mahavidyalaya is carried out in accordance with the policies prescribed by the state government, U. T. Administration, and the affiliated university.
