Jawaharlal Nehru Shikshan Sansthan, Kota is an esteemed institute recognised in the year was 1965 and is situated at Sakatpura, Kota in the state of Rajasthan. Teacher education is the major leaning of this affiliated college which is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Situated on the total area of 0. 309 acres the institute provides a co education environment for aspiring teachers.

Jawaharlal Nehru Shikshan Sansthan currently offers two full-time degree programmes. Two years duration B. Ed and MEd (Master of Education) courses and four years integrated BEd-MEd course are currently offered by the university.

The library can be noticed as one of the major assets; it includes stock of 14,080 books that are connected with the different subjects of teacher education. It comprises popular reference texts on education, history, psychology, philosophy, educational and academic research.
The library also holds thirteen different encyclopedia collections, fifty-two dictionaries, and 21 types of educational journal subscription. There exists a book bank for all students that may require them, and there is also a reading room whereby students can read dailies and magazines. Jawaharlal Nehru Shikshan Sansthan has a total of two current course offerings and they are 100% course offerings. The B. Ed and M.
Ed courses are set to meet the needs of students, who want to have a professional career in the field of education. The admission in B. Ed and M. Ed of Jawaharlal Nehru Shikshan Sansthan, Kota is strictly on merit basis. So for B. Ed course, the intake of students is directly proportional to the marks that they score in the relevant examination or the entrance test conducted for admitting the students.
