JB Teachers Training Institute, Sri Ganganagar

JB Teachers Training Institute, was set up in the year 2006, is one of the leading institutions imparting training to teachers and is situated in Sri Ganganagar Rajasthan. This is a co-educational institute consisting of a small campus of 0. 70 acres and under the formation of future educators.

Affiliated to University of Calicut, JB Teachers Training Institute is an NAAC accredited institute which is approved under NCTE and NAAC. The institutes total student strength is 360 and a faculty strength of 28 and the institute gives importance to two degree programmes in two specialised courses to develop quality teachers.

JB Teachers Training Institute for its part possesses all facilities that are essential in the learning process of its students. A book treasury is the heart of knowledge, and athletic fields are the body that encourages and develops team work and healthy spirits. Campus facilities such Wi-Fi contributes to the enhancement of students’ connectivity to electronic resources through the college’s IT network.

With the auditorium which has been hosting numerous events and seminars, there is always a rich academic activity. To enhance students and staff convenience, the institute offers transport facilities within its compound. A cafeteria takes care of the nutritional requirement and there is a guest room /waiting room for faculty and families visiting.

It also contains sports, recreational, gymnasium facilities, health care services and first aid, and usable laboratory services. In total, JB Teachers Training Institute presently provides 2 full-time courses in teacher education. Though the specialised data about the current year of passing out is missing, the institute plays a crucial role in providing trained teachers to the education sector.

JB Teachers Training Institute having laid down these goals has an admission process to ensure that deserving candidates offer its teacher training programmes. Admission criteria for B. Ed programme is by Merit of marks secured in the qualifying examination and/ or Entrance test as the case may be.

The process also complies with the strategic directions of the State Government / UT administration and the affiliated university. Like the previously written, for the D. El. Ed programme , admission on merit basis is done taking into account the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance test conforming to the policies of the state government.
