Jeevan Jyoti Institute of Pharmacy, which started in 2013, is one of the famous institutes in Aligarh that provides education in the pharma field. The affiliated college of Lodha, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh has made its presence felt in the area of pharmacy education to the populace. The institute, situated on one acre of land, has a sanctioned strength of 320 students and 29 faculty members.

Jeevan Jyoti Institute of Pharmacy has a well-defined concentration area, which is evident by the fact that the college offers only one degree programme. Jeevan Jyoti Institute of Pharmacy, Aligarh is affiliated with the university Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Lucknow. The institute is proud to present a number of amenities that can improve the students learning process.

The qualitative library is well stocked with adequate numbers of books and references necessary in the field of pharmacy. Modern, equipped laboratories allow students to practice and perform experiments, which are important for the state of their subjects. It also has fantastic IT facilities that enable the students to work on modern techniques used in IT as a college.

Extra privileges, if needed, offered by the institute include the accommodation, where there are hostels for boys as well as girls. There is a cafeteria for students preparing for the day or to take a snack, a hall for holding different events and seminars, and sporting facilities to encourage students to get a sound mind in a sound body.

Further, there is a facility for a gym, guest room, health centre, & first aid centre to meet several of the students’ requirements. Jeevan Jyoti Institute of Pharmacy has only one full-time course at present, and that is the Diploma in Pharmacy ( D. Pharma ).

This two-year programme is approved for enrolment of 60 students, which is an indication of the institute’s commitment to deliver quality education and client’s satisfaction in terms of a 1:1 student-to-teacher ratio. The curriculum of D.

Pharma is developed to equip the students with wide and generalised knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical sciences so as to enable the learners to produce professionals in this dynamic growth of healthcare trade and pharmaceutical industries.
