Jeevan Rekha School of Nursing, Mandi, is an individual institution in Himachal Pradesh initiated in 2010 for training human resources required in nursing profession. Recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), it focuses on providing nursing education with a clear curriculum.

The capacity of the college includes a student intake of 147 and the faculty strength of 12 supportive teachers which makes our college student teacher ratio convenient, providing individual attention as well as professional education. Jeevan Rekha School of Nursing has well equipped and developed facilities to the help the learning abilities as well as the learning process of all the students.

A good library is the wealth of knowledge with professional books, medical journals and educational periodicals and it should be fully stocked. Students can borrow books using their library cards. The laboratories in the school are one of the principal areas of practical studies and has research facilities with well-ventilated practical rooms with modern equipment’s.

They include basic clinical skills lab, human anatomy and physiology lab, community health and nutrition, and students acquire practical experience vital for their practice tomorrow. Jeevan Rekha School of Nursing currently offers one full-time course, the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course.

This three-year diploma course has an approved strength of 40 students which shows that the institute focuses towards quality education in terms of limited strength of the classes. The GNM programme aims at producing professional trained nurses and midwives to deal with the nature of delivering health care services.
