Jhulelal Institute of Architecture, Nagpur

The Jhulelal Institute of Architecture, Nagpur (JIA) was established in 2015 and is affiliated nationally in Lonara, off Koradi Road, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, affiliated with the RTMNU Nagpur . Its advisory authority for architecture is its approving body, and in the current scene of architectural education, its curriculum is focused through the flagship B. Arch programme.

The institute is spread over 2 acres of compact campus and has 128 students enrolled to foster personal attention to each student. Having 16 assiduous faculty members who are dynamic in their respective fields secures a good student-faculty ratio for better learning. Jhulelal Institute of Architecture is wholly committed to the overall development of students, for which ample spacious facilities are available.

The library is orientated towards modern ways, and students use it to compile knowledge about architectural literature and resources. Advanced IT Infrastructure meets the technological aspirations of future architects, supplemented by well-equipped Laboratories to offer an ideal companion in the learning experience. An Auditorium conducts events and seminars, creating a vibrant academic environment at the college.

In order to ensure all-round development, It also has sports facilities and a gym for physical health alongside academic endeavours. The Students' health is taken care of by a health centre with first-aid facilities. The students may pass their time with friends in the cafeteria of the Institute between classes. Currently, the institute offers only one full-time course—the Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) programme. This five-year degree course was meant to have an intake of 20 students per annum, in keeping with the policy of the institute for an ideal low student–teacher ratio that would benefit the process of education.
