JP College of Arts and Science, Tirunelveli is an affiliated college which was started in 2007 in Tenkasi District, Tamil Nadu. Located over one hundred acre lands, the institution provides twenty courses under nine degree programmes. This UT college has 2,369 students in total it has 75 faculty members, 987 are male students while 945 are females.

It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes across arts and sciences for diverse learner priorities. The college has numerous amenities that make a student feel comfortable to maximize his/her learning process. The library, open from 9.

The library is open from 30 AM to 4:30 PM, 5 days a week, and boasts in possessing a rich stock of books and journals which should help the students get the most out of their library. Also there are two hostels for the boys and girls respectively with separate mess being run by the resident tutors. At JP College of Arts and Science the students can have an assortment of courses that consist in 15 undergraduate and 5 postgraduate courses.

The current undergraduate programmes are offered in fields including Computer Applications, Computer Science , Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Commerce, English, Mathematics, Business Administration, Physics, Chemistry and Visual Communication. At post graduate level, facilities in the college are M. Sc in Computer Science and Mathematics, M. Com , MA in English and M.

Phil in Computer Science and Commerce. All the courses are full time and this shows an intention of the institution to provide in -depth focused learning. Admission at JP College of Arts and Science is a un-complicated process since the college aims to make education accessible.

The college admits students in different courses of their desired choice and admission is done according to their performance as reflected in their qualifying exams. For post graduate courses; any graduate from an appropriate discipline may apply. It also has scholarship facilities and statistics from the year 2021 shows that 20% of undergraduate students were have been reimbursed.
