JS Institute of Education, Shikohabad

JS Institute of Education is located in Shikohabad, Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh and is an affiliated college set up recently in the year 2009. This is a co-educational institution which is approved by the National University for Teacher Education and specialises in education related programmes. Although situated on a 0. 85 acres of land, the institute, at present, has 285 students and 17 faculty members.

JS Institute of Education provides two full-time programmes. They are the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D. Ed). A nineteen thousand seven hundred and thirty six square feet library is a knowledge centre and it boasts of a security system that is a state of the art.

For physical fitness and recreatio, JS Institute of Education has provided various, sporting amenities such as basketball hoops, badminton courts and table tennis. It also has a gym where all the students who exercise their body muscles can practice. To improve students living comfort, the college offers different hostels for male and female students to ensure they are protected.

In this regard, the institute’s concern in the provision of the lamps is complemented by laboratories and IT structures as well as a health centre complete with first aid amenities. There is a cafeteria for those students as well as the staffs while a guest house has also been provided for the visiting faculties as well as students’, families. The college is affiliated to Dr BR Ambedkar University, Agra.

JS Institute of Education offers two full-time courses : a two year Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and a two year Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) programme. Total seats for B.
