Jubilee Mission School of Nursing, Thrissur, Kerala, India, was started in the year 1966, which is one of the oldest and most prestigious nursing institutes purely for nursing education. This co-educational institution is recognised as one of the leading centres of learning in the city of Thrissur and is affectionately referred to as Thrissur Medical College.

It has been preparing future healthcare leaders for more than 50 years. Spread over a large area of 26 acres of land, the school is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The annual student enrolment is 150 and the faculty strength of 20 makes sure the institute provides individual attention.

The nursing programmes offered by the school comprise three degree courses and five specialisation courses that meet the different levels of nursing learning. The Jubilee Mission School of Nursing possesses this and other first-rate facilities for learning with a view of pairing the academic growth and development of the institute’s students.

It has a hospital-like modern library to serve my requirement in case of medical literature and research works. To enhance practical training, the school provides department-based laboratories that mimic the healthcare facilities. On-campus facilities include a health centre and first aid for students and talents, preparing them for health emergencies.

A healthy mind, they say, requires a healthy body, and as such, the institute has sports facilities and even a gym where people can regularly exercise. To build up a clan feeling to make more use of that place for seminars and cultural activities, there is an auditorium on the campus.
