Jyotiraditya Institute of Technology Management and Research, Pratapgarh

As a newly established institution, Jyotiraditya Institute of Technology Management and Research or JITMR, for short, is an educational institution situated in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, started in 2019. This affiliated college which is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, aims at deliverance of quality technical education.

The institute is located on a 4-acre area and has three diploma courses in engineering disciplines. Currently, the number of students is 94, and the institute has a teaching staff of 38 members, which contributes to significant student-faculty ratios.

This is equally evident by the fact that JITMR has considered the offering of diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering Production, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Jyotiraditya Institute of Technology Management and Research, Pratapgarh is affiliated with the university Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Lucknow.

The institute has various amenities which help in making the learning environment of the students different. The sophisticated library adequately helps students gain associations with vast information and learning materials. JITMR’s modern facilities in the Information Technology sector help students to be aware of modern technologies.

It has laboratory facilities for each department of the college with flexible and practical approaches to learning. For the other co-curriculum activities and occasions, the institute provides an auditorium and sports amenities. The campus also has cafeterial for the students to find a place to rest and also and make new friends.

Besides, the JITMR has a health centre in its compound that provides First Aid treatment to students in case of emergencies. As we are aware, JITMR currently provides three full time diploma programmes and all the programs take three years to complete. These programmes, have a total approved intake capacity of 300 in the institute.

Each course is highly competitive and the number of available opportunities are limited; the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Production has 60 intake opportunities each year and the Diploma Civil Engineering , as well as the Diploma Electrical Engineering, admits 120 students each year.

These courses are intended to equip students with sufficient practical knowledge in their branches of engineering for productive practice or to proceed with postgraduate study. It is clear that in JITMR admission process is open for the qualifications holder who wants to be a part of this distinguished university.

The details regarding admission are still unclear but it is a general trend that most of the diploma programs take admission based on mark scored in qualifying exams or 10+2 standard.
