Kalinagar Mahavidyalaya came into existence in the year 1985 and is one of the affiliated colleges located at North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, enlightening young minds for a period of almost four decades. The institute is situated within 14. 54 acres of a peaceful campus. The undergraduate courses are quite diversified, having 17 courses in 4 degree types with an enrollment of 1,136 students.

Taught by a strength of 30 dedicated faculty members, Kalinagar Mahavidyalaya aspires for excellence in the dissemination of quality education in Arts and Sciences. The college has amenities for all-round development in its students. The library with its enriched collection of over 13,000 stock of books and influential journals acts as a knowledge centre for the ever-inquisitive minds of the learners.

A well-equipped computer science laboratory offers hands-on experience on the latest systems, software, and internet facilities to the tech-savvies. The college also takes care of the physical fitness of the students by providing sports facilities and multi-gym through the Department of Youth and Sports, Government of West Bengal.
