Kamalnath College, Bhopal

Kamalnath College Bhopal was founded in year 2006, it is an affiliated college in Saket Nagar Bhopal (M. P. ). The institute is Recognised by National council for teacher education and the campus is situated in 7. 926 acres of land. Thus, while Kamalnath College offers two full time courses in education, with a total student capacity of one hundred and seventy and a faculty of nine members.

Kamalnath College has various facilities that can be used in the various academic programmes or as addition to the students’ experience. Modern and equipped library stocked with collection of books, journals, and magazines-both Indian and foreign; for the benefits of students.

The laboratories of the college is designed according to the college’s educational courses with full-fledged requirements for Computer Psychology, Education Technology, Music, and Craft for D. El. Ed students and for the B. P. Ed students there are Anatomy, Physiology, Health Education, and Sports Psychology.

This creates vitality and awareness about the changes that are happening in the technological sector, where Kamalnath College currently possesses an adequate computer centre regarding proper hardware and software needful for multiple application versatility. The educational centre has also an auditorium for meetings, seminars etc.

Currently, Kamalnath College has two courses which offers full time education in various domains. The college offers undergraduate programmes that are Bachelor of Physical Education and Diploma in Elementary Education. The B. P.

Ed course has an approval to admit 100 students of the course, while the D. El. Ed programme admits only 50 students. These two programmes are meant to prepare students for professional teaching and physical education after offering them a through education in their lines of specialisation.

The admission process of Kamalnath College is based on Merit, which follows standards issued by the state Government/UT Administration. General admission criteria for the D. El. Ed programme are the marks secured in the qualifying test or entrance test. The B. P.

Ed programme has a more detailed procedure for the selection criteria in which it comprises of a written ability test, sports ability test, physical fitness test and marks secured in the qualifying exam.
