The KCT Engineering College is an affiliated college situated in Qamar-ul-Islam Colony, Roza, Gulbarga, Karnataka, established in 2001. Recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, this institution is imparting B. Tech education in four specialisations.
KCT Engineering College is located on a campus area of 10 acres, and the total enrolment of this college is 341 students, and it has 39 members of faculty. The college is affiliated with Visvessvaraya Technological University . The college has an ever-expanding list of amenities aimed at complementing the learning needs of its students.
Opulent library consists of the printed texts, magazines, journals and the segment of the international e-journals along with the digital library. This is shown by technology through having a well-equipped computer laboratory outfitted with modern systems and other internet facilities.
All departments feature specialty labs containing state-of-the-art equipment so the students are trained and interact with equipment within their specialty. To support the education objectives, the college has a sports facility and an event and seminar hall for its students and a cafeteria for the students as well as the staff.
The college has facilities for both boys' and girls' hostels for students from different parts of the country. KCT Engineering College has designed and implemented four full-time B. Tech programmes of four-year duration. In total, the approved intake to all courses is 210 seats. While the B. Tech in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering takes 60 students, Computer Science and Engineering B.
Tech takes 60 students too, but Electronics and Communication Engineering takes 30 students only. These programmes are intended to ensure that students have adequate knowledge and skills in engineering that can enable them when they leave school to engage in the real world.
