KLE Society’s Shivayogi Murughendra Swamiji Post Graduate Arts, Science & Commerce College, Athani, Karnataka, is on par with the best colleges in the country as it was established in the year 1968. This affiliated college was established in Athani and now covers an area of 33. 15 acres of land.
I am grateful to say that the institution has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in regard to quality. At present, the college has an enrolment strength of 964 and 42 faculty members teaching undergraduate courses. Its commitment to producing academic achievers is seen in its provision of three distinctive degree programmes in arts, sciences, and commerce.

The college has a computer laboratory with 30 modern computers and internet to support the technological advancement of the institution.
For those more inclined towards sports and fitness, the institution has a large plus gymkhana hall, a badminton court, a table tennis facility, carom, and chess. A new hall constructed is a gym that meets the needs of female students to enhance total body fitness. In terms of academic offerings, the college provides three full-time undergraduate programmes: BA, B. Sc. , and B. Com .
All these programmes take a span of three years, and this gives the student group enough time to comprehensively study their areas of emphasis.
