KM College of Education, Bhiwani

It is one of the premier colleges, established in 1955, situated in Haryana, India. KM College of Education, Bhiwani, works with the purpose of providing the best teacher education through this co-educational institution.

The institution is affiliated to Chaudhary Bansi Lal University and duly accredited with an A grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, impARTing approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The college is situated on a sprawling 7-acre campus, and currently, the total enrolment of the college is 94 students with a faculty strength of 2.

The curricular focus of KMCE is on just one degree program with a specialization in teacher education. The institution has various facilities to enhance the learning processes of the students. There is a well-stocked library with a fine collection of books—nearly 20,080—and subscribing to 80 international and national journals to back the academic pursuits with rich resources.

There is also provided a large hall providing enough space to accommodate 45 students and 10 faculty members in the library at any point in time, with small cabins to focus study. KMCE also has separate hostels for boys and girls, which ensure comfortable accommodation to students coming from all parts of the country.

The medical facilities of the college, under the administration of a Medical Officer, have provisions for Allopathic as well as Ayurvedic treatment to ensure the well-being of the students. Another important landmark of the campus is its magnificent auditorium, with a seating capacity of 250 people, which has emerged as the centre for all cultural activities and events.

KM College of Education, Bhiwani offers only one full-time course: B. Ed . This is a two-year program designed to orient the aspiring teacher for a successful teaching career. The approved intake of the college for the course is 50 seats. Admission is merit-based, Marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as the case may be.
