KNM Government Degree College at Miryalaguda been inaugurated in the year 1981 to enlighten the people of higher studies in the Telangana state. Situated in Nalgonda district Mirror co-educational institution is imparting quality education to the students of Miryalaguda and its neighbourhoods for nearly 40 years.

NAAC accredited and part of Osmania University, Hyderabad, the college strives to present quality education with fiscal responsibility to the common good. With a campus area of about 4 acres KNM Government Degree College provides 4 undergraduate programmes given under 3 different degree types for the total enrolment of 339 students with 11 hardworking members of the teaching staff.

Infrastructure facilities in the KNM Government Degree College are comprehensively focused on the development of the learning outcomes. The library enriched with the modern and necessary inventory, which provide the students with all the varieties of pieces and data necessary for research.

In this regards, the college has countless departmental laboratories to give the students practical experience in their respective fields apart from the craft laboratories. The institution has complied with provision of modern education in its IT facilities which comprise of digital/virtual teaching including classroom fitted with boards and projectors.

Regular physically-active folks can use the open grounds as playing fields for extra outdoor games and exclusive indoor playing fields. The college has also sitting arrangement of seminar hall with 200 seating capacity for seminar and other academic purposes. For students ‘physical fitness, the school has a gym facility for all students who use the facility in their training.

KNM Government Degree College thus provides its students with a total of four full-time under graduate programmes based on various disciplines. These are B. Sc Physical sciences , B. Sc Life sciences, BA , B.

Com Computer applications each taking a period of three academic years. These programmes can be described as aimed at offering students profound and extensive knowledge and experience based within specific disciplines.

The courses offered at KNM Government Degree College are aimed at awarding good performing students with an opportunity to join the institution based on their performance in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations.
