Kothari Teachers Training College, Rajgarh

Kothari Teachers Training College began in the year 2006 affiliated to SGG Southeast Rajasthan, Rajgarh Rajasthan. This co-educational institute which occupies only 1 acres of land caters for those aspiring to be teachers. Affiliated to National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college focuses mainly on teacher training.

There are 176 students in this college and faculty ratio is 16 which indicates that the college provide personalised teaching learning environment. Kothari Teachers Training College there are various facilities that help to improve teaching and learning process of pre-service teachers.

A well equipped library is the main edu- informational facility which presents the references and multimedia fund, the individual increased receptions for individual studying, and the comfortable specialised chamber. The following facilities are available in the campus; A health centre with first aid equipment, canteen and an auditorium for functions and seminars.

In the college, students are exposed to practical sessions in the various well-equipped laboratories such as a composite science laboratory, social science laboratory and furthermore, an advanced language laboratory. Sports lovers have all the facilities required for the various indoor and outdoor games that may be needed to make education balanced with health.

Kothari Teachers Training College currently offers one primary course: It is the Bachelor of Education ( B. Ed ) programme. This is a full time course which take two years to complete, and its aim is to prepare students for teaching profession. This college has an intake capacity of 100 students for this programme in order to offer quality education for the country’s many aspiring educators.

Admission in Kothari Teachers Training College is purely Merit based, that is, marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test if any.
