Kousali Institute of Management Studies, Dharwad (KIMS), is one of the most reputed constituent colleges founded in 1976. This institution is based in Dharwad, Karnataka, and has been producing potential corporate leaders for more than forty years. KIMS is providing a number of management courses, including a full-time MBA and several PG diplomas.

Currently, the institute has a teaching faculty strength of six full-time faculty members in management studies. The main MBA programme offers 60 places, MBA Evening offers 40 places, as well as such accredited programmes as PGD Banking , PGD Insurance and Risk Management, and PGD Rural Management .

For the MBA programme, the common management admittance test commonly known as CMAT is the tested method of admittance. The institute also gives admissions based on the scores of the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test ( Karnataka PGCET ). For the specialised PGD courses, the admitted students are selected from category-I to have different and qualified students.
