The College of Teacher Education, Malappuram district, under the Kuthiravoor Pallath Parackal Memorial group of institutions, was commenced in 2002 to nurture future educators. This college is an affiliated co-educational college situated in Anakkayam, Malappuram, Kerala, and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
KPPM College operates with an objective to train teachers and offers a Bachelor of Education (B. Ed. ) for the aspiring teachers. The college has a small enrolment capacity of total students per section, being 100, and 7 faculty members to ensure individual focus and quality education. This college has numerous amenities intended to improve the learning environment or conditions of all students.
Necessary for school and representing the ottoman concept of the mosque complex, there are available school facilities such as a library with book stocks of 5450, within which 250 more books are bought every year. This is a full-time course of two years for training professional teachers to teach in schools. The capacity of the intake of the programme is 50 seats, which is basically due to the fact that this college has always aimed to have a small number of students in regard to each course in order to be quality-driven.
