Kuchinda College, Sambalpur

Kuchinda College, located in Kuchinda in Odisha, was set up in 1964 and is an affiliated college. This co-educational institution located in a 50 acre area is a prestigious institute, which came into existence nearly six decades ago to fulfil the educational demand of this area. Kuchinda College is NAAC accredited with three undergraduate courses spread over 1,104 students.

The college has a fine team of 18 members of faculty, whereby the student-teacher ratio is ideal in order to improve on the proper and effective teaching and learning process. Kuchinda College is affiliated with Sambalpur University, Sambalpur . Kuchinda College has several amenities that would help to improve the general learning of students.

On the matter of hostels, the Institute provides separate hostels for both male and female students with capacities of 300 and 500 respectively. This is in addition to a central library where a host of books and other research materials are housed to encourage students to embrace research and self-study.

Digital learning is facilitated by Information Technology infrastructure and practical education by laboratories. There is an auditorium for the conductance of events and seminars and a guest house for the transport of professors and family. Kuchinda College offers three full-time undergraduate programmes : B. Sc. Bioscience (Hons), B. Com and BA Education (Hons). Every programme takes three years to complete and allows the students to gain sufficient knowledge and skills in their areas of specialisation.
