KV Virani Institute of Pharmacy and Research Centre, Badhada

KV Virani Institute of Pharmacy and Research Centre, Badhada, Gujarat, established in 2006, seeks to grant pharmaceutical education within the parameters agreed by the Pharmacy Council of India. The institute is spread over a 5-acre campus and has a co-educational atmosphere for future pharmacists. The institute has a total student enrolment of 77 and a faculty strength of 12.

At present, under KV Virani Institute, the college conducts only one-degree program- B. Pharma, and likes to project the same to offer quality pharmaceutical education. The institute adopts a broad range of facilities. The library is utilised as a knowledge source, where many textbooks, reference materials, and journals on pharmaceutical sciences can be accessed.

Laboratories are well provided with modern apparatuses and research-grade chemicals to promote a botanical research-oriented environment. The college provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The college has created a comfortable and safe living environment, equipped with TV rooms, reading rooms, and sports facilities.

In terms of student physical fitness, the institution operates clubs equipped with a gym and several other sports grounds for all types of indoor and outdoor activities. Additionally, the facilities of the campus include an auditorium for conducting events and seminars, a canteen for refreshments, and a computer lab with updated equipment for computer-based learning in pharmacy.

Academically, the KV Virani Institute of Pharmacy and Research Centre is committed to pharmacy education. The institute offers a full-time B. Pharma program with affiliations, curricula, and academic regulations that are approved by the AICTE. This undergraduate program is of four years duration and can take in an intake of 60 students.
