L and T Institute of Technology, Mumbai, was established in 1983 and is located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. This is a perceived affiliated college providing a diploma specifically in Engineering field. The college provides its students with specialised diploma courses and qualified skills because the requirements of the industrial sectors are changing very fast.

In a state-of-the-art learning environment with an intake of 46 students, paying emphasis on practical skills and industry-orientated knowledge, the institute serves the needs of the students.

Currently, the L and T Institute of Technology manages three full-time diploma courses , each course being of three years' duration: Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The institute offers a number of facilities for effective learning for its students.

The library has a reading hall with a capacity for 90 to enable access by its students to a bank of learning resources as well as provide a quiet study area. The college provides sports facilities and a well-equipped gym for the fitness enthusiasts. The IT infrastructure is very good, and students get the latest technology in their studies.
