Lakshay Institute of Education, Solan is affiliated college which is established in the year 2008 situated at Arki, Himachal Pradesh. The institute is also approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and imparts education in the field of teaching. Although the institute serves this specialised teacher training programme, it does offer the full range of educational study through its other facilities and provisions. Ed programme to candidates having passed the Common Entrance Test (CET) of Himachal Pradesh University Shimla. This means that the standard deviation of the scores makes it easier to select deserving candidates equitably. Candidates are counselled after the CET, and only those in the list of selected candidates of CET are offered a place in the B. Ed programme.
