Laxmi college of optometry was started in the year 1999 located at New Panvel Maharashtra. This affiliated college aims at providing education in optometry and hence provides the relevant curriculum to those who wish to be optometrists. The total number of students enrolled is 32 while the faculty numbers 14; thus, we have a better student-educator ratio, which fosters more learning.
It only has one course called the B. Sc. Optometry which is a full time and takes 4 academic years to complete. Laxmi College of Optometry is a coeducational institution, therefore students of different gender can enroll and the College offers the atmosphere of tolerance. For this reason, the college has employed different facilities that would complement the learning activities of the students.
