Maa Saraswati Teacher's Training Institute, Gurgaon

The Maa Saraswati Teachers Training Institute was established in the year 2007 in Gurgaon, Haryana. This is a co-educational institute that covers an area of 1. 75 acres and is practicing in shaping up future teachers. It is a recognized affiliated college with the National Council for Teacher Education, wherein all the laid down norms regarding teacher education has been adhered and implemented upon.

The institute has had only one degree program, B. Ed. (Bachelor of Education), with a total student enrolment of 99 and a faculty strength of 7, thereby maintaining an excellent student-to-teacher ratio. In addition, the institute houses modern infrastructural facilities that are well laid out to make the process of learning of the student an enjoyable one.

The library is well stocked with over 4,600 books based on B. Ed. and D. Ed. programs, electronic journals, and educational CDs. It is also a place for reading room facilities, where the capacity of 30 students at a time can be done, besides an environment adhering to studies and research.

In a view to this the college is well devoted to the technology front and in this view the equipment in computer lab is full with 15 latest Pentium-IV computers besides, which high-speed internet access is available. The institute provides healthy physical training by indoor and outdoor sports facilities. An indoor sports room providing 30 students the room to play at a time.

It can facilitate for the sport like table tennis, carom, and chess. Maa Saraswati Teachers Training Institute provides one course There is only one full-time in this college known as the B. Ed full-time course. The tenure of the full-time course is of 2 years having an approved intake of 100 seats.

The program's purpose is to prepare students in a way that can reap success in a teaching career by inculcating the required pedagogical skills and knowledge in them. Total fees for the entire B. Ed course amount to INR 96,000, which comes within a reasonable amount for any aspiring teacher who feels that he will be able to bear the cost.
