Madhusudan Law University (MLU) Cuttack is a state university established on 28th April, 2021 by the Government of Odisha. The university is named after Madhusudan Das, the first graduate and first advocate of Odisha. The aim is to impart legal education that helps the development of an individual as well as the growth of the nation.
MLU Cuttack admission offers courses including an LLB , a five-year integrated BA LLB (Hons), LLM , and PhD in Law . Depending on the course, the eligibility criteria differ for admission to its courses. The selection of candidates for admission to courses at the Madhusudan Law University is based on the entrance test conducted by the university.
The entrance test consists of 100 questions on General Knowledge/Current Affairs, Constitutional/Legal Awareness, General English, and Reasoning. Admissions are done through online mode. The candidates have to fill out the application form available on the university website and pay the application fee through online mode.
MLU Cuttack facilities include well-equipped classrooms, a library, computer labs, a moot court hall, a seminar hall, an auditorium, a health centre, a gymnasium, a sports area, hostels, a cafeteria and others.

Madhusudan Law University is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the University Grants Commission (UGC).
