Magnus College of Education, situated in Sehore, Bhopal, was established in the year 2013 and is co-educational, dedicated in preparing teaching professionals. Being affiliated college, this is based in Bilkisganj, Jhagariya, Sehore, Madhya Pradesh and has been accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE).
The institute has two programmes in education to which a total student enrolment of 148 is admitted. Providing education to all students is the 15 well-experienced faculty members of Magnus College of Education, which makes better student –facilitators ratio. Magnus College of Education has facilities that are needed to support the learning experiences of students in the college.
The main complement of the academic resources is a rich library with varying book stock of different genres, magazines, newspapers, periodicals, encyclopedia, and journals. For teachers trainees to improve their courses, the college offers special laboratories that are useful to the trainees.
At Science Lab, the students are provided with requisite materials for different experiments and demonstration, and at the Psychology Lab students get to practice the tests on children understanding the child psychology in a better way. Thus, the Language Lab strikes an important cord as far as students are concerned to help shape their linguistic skills that are so important in teaching.
For purpose of supporting a balanced personality development, the college provides the students with sporting amenities as well as a multi-purpose hall that can host over a hundred people for various functions. Magnus College of Education offers two full-time courses, B. Ed and D. El. Ed. The B. Ed programme has been approved for 100 seats and the D. El. Ed programme has 50 seats.
They both take two years to complete, and offer rigorous preparation for future educators. Magnus College of Education admits only deserving candidates.
