Maharaja Chhatrasal Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is a Teacher Education affiliated College located at Chhatarpur, District Chhatarpur (M. P. ). Founded in 2007 this institution has prepared the future educators for more than ten years. The college is sprawling over 5 acres of land and is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education – NCTE.

With a total number of student enrolment of 761 and a teaching staff of 16 personnel the college affords an academically intimate student learning experience. The institute currently offers two professional teaching courses in education, proving concern inasmuch as developing quality teachers of the future generation.

Maharaja Chhatrasal Shiksha Mahavidyalaya has opened its doors to students with special facilities aimed at improving learning to the college students. These include a modern library housing a variety of books and journals both in the area of specialisations and in general to aid the student with his course work.

The institution has a comprehensive programme development plan with emphasis on the comprehensive development; they have a large playground for sports activities. To meet the technological requirement of the technologically driven modern day education, the college boasts of modern IT facilities.

Students equally get the privilege of departmental laboratories so that as you can understand this is very important for students intending to teach. The Maharaja Chhatrasal Shiksha Mahavidyalaya provides total two courses in the related stream of education and they are complete time courses. The proposed course is the B.

Ed Programme which has a thousand intake capacity and takes two academic years for completion and its primary aim is to produce professional teachers. Likewise, the college extends a four-year integrated course of D. El. ED with 50 students teaching facility for primary education. These programmes support the institute goal and mission to produce qualified teachers at various levels of education sector.

At Maharaja Chhatrasal Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, admission to all the courses is done on the basis of marks scored in the previous examination or any entrance test. For the admission of the students the college is bound with the policies of state government of Madhya Pradesh and the university to which it is affiliated.
