Maharana Pratap Institute of Technology and Management was established in the year 2010. This is a constituent college situated in Mahendergarh, Haryana. MPITM offers education in a wide variety of disciplines through its 15 courses spread across 3 degree levels. The technical wing of the institution offers courses in B. Tech, M. Tech, and Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering. All programmes are full-time and orientated towards giving hands-on experience through well-equipped laboratories and workshops.

However, the admission procedure for the Diploma programs is given in detail. The admissions are based on the rank in DET, with a merit list prepared from the inter-merit of DET scores. In case of equal marks, the criteria adopted are mathematics, science, English, and general awareness. The institute is also conducting institute-level admissions on the same basis.
