Maharashtra College of Engineering, Nilanga

Maharashtra College of Engineering, Nilanga (MCE Nilanga), was one of the elite institutions established in the year 1983 at Nilanga, Maharashtra. This is a co-education-based affiliated college, rich in tradition, three decades old in grooming engineering talent, having an enrolment of 147. It offers three full-time programmes under Bachelor of Engineering: BE in Civil, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering.

The facilities formulated by MCE Nilanga for the betterment of its pupils include separate hostels for boys and girls, luxurious accommodation, a well-stocked library as the knowledge hub, many ultramodern laboratories for practical learning across all departments, a modern gym to support physical fitness, and a variety of sports facilities.

The on-campus student services entail the availability of a medical center with first aid services for all health-related needs. On the technological front, there is more than sufficient support of the IT infrastructure for digital learning, whereas several events and seminars can be accommodated in the auditorium.

Maharashtra College of Engineering cafeteria area offers relaxation with varieties of refreshments to the students. This guest room is mainly used to accommodate the visiting faculty and family members, thus adding to the element of familiarity on the campus. It offers three full-time BE courses, each of four year duration, viz. BE in Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

While the approved intake for Electronics and Mechanical Engineering is 23 each, there is no specified intake for Civil Engineering. All programmes at the institute have been designed to provide a sound base in the respective field of study with a judicious blend of basic theoretical aspects and appropriate practical orientation.

The impetus of the college is full-time, regular curriculum to provide students intensive and comprehensive education in their chosen specialisations.
