Maharshi Dayanand B. Ed. College is situated in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan and provides the teacher training course as an affiliated college. This co-educational college started in 2007 and has the vision of producing future educators for more than ten years. The college occupies a relatively small piece of land of 0.

67 acres, which provides the college and its students with a professional learning atmosphere appropriate for a teachers training institution. The institute had an overall strength of 190 students and faculty of strength 15, therefore the institute has maintained student-teacher ratio as well the quality service we provide.

At the moment, the college provides only one degree programme, known as the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed), which has an approved capacity of enrolling 100 students; this shows that the college is majoring in training teachers. The college has procured various infrastructural amenities to improve the performance and personal growth of the learners.

This enables the students to study and research since the college is equipped with a well-stocked library and the facilities enable the students to stay current with the technologically enhanced methods of learning. Besides, the campus has laboratory for practical lessons, a hall for event and seminars, and a playground, among others for sporting activities.

There are provisions for health checks with a first aid facility and fitness with a gym. It also has the hostel for boys and girls to enable out station students to live comfortably in the college. Ed programme , which is a two-year full-time course. The above focus proved worthwhile because it enables the institution to effectively invest its resources and efforts in training competent teachers. The B. Ed has been sanctioned for an intake capacity of 100 students to meet the growing numbers of prospective teachers at LDMR College each session.

College has fixed its admission criteria as per the PTET conducted by the Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner, in pursuance of the policy of the Government of Rajasthan.
