Mahatma Gautam Buddh Mahavidyalya, Pilkhuwa

Mahatma Gautam Buddh Mahavidyalya, Pilkhuwa was established in the academic session of 2013-14 as a collegiate affiliated college under Hapur District, Uttar Pradesh. It is one such co-educational institution approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, and the special courses offered here are in Education only.

The campus has a spread over 150 acres, and the total strength of students is 200, with an enrollment of 200 students at present. The Mahatma Gautam Buddh Mahavidyalya envisions quality education and prepares quality educators for the future. Many facilities are provided to the students towards their academic learning and development at the college itself.

There is a library with well-stocked resources of about 5000 books, containing curriculum related to home science, B. Ed. studies, and humanities. Campus sports facility: It comprises a vast playground where students can engage themselves in various sports-related activities and physical fitness programmes to inculcate team spirit among the students.

Other facilities include a health centre offering first-aid services, a gym, a canteen, an auditorium for events and seminars, and very well-designed classrooms that are ably supported by the latest teaching aids. The Mahatma Gautam Buddh Mahavidyalya offers three full-time courses. The courses that the institution caters to are a B. Ed. programme and two diploma courses: D. El. Ed. and D. T. Ed.

The approved total intake of programmes is 150 students, with 100 sanctioned seats for the B. Ed. course and 50 for the D. El. Ed. course. Admissions at Mahatma Gautam Buddh Mahavidyalya are merit-based, which are assigned according to the marks acquired in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
