Founded in 2009, Mahatma Jyotiba Fule College of Veterinary and Animal Science, Jaipur is an affiliated College in Rajasthan, India for the faculty of Veterinary and Animal Science. Located on the Chomu By pass, NH-52, Harota it is dedicated to the field of veterinary education. It remains a co-educational university that has only one undergraduate course in veterinary science for the students.

The college is still young, but over the years, it has been endeavoring to build up the necessary complex and expand its programme to equip qualified veterinary experts for the increasing need in the ill-fated area. The MJF College of Veterinary and Animal Science has various amenities that put the facility’s learning environment into a better learning environment for the students.

The campus has different hostels for the male and female students whereby the students are able to comfortably stay and focus on their study. Each hostel contains an adequate number of airy rooms with study facilities, water coolers, refrigerators and geyser facilities fitted in each hostel. The college library extends approximately 4000 sq. ft.

, with a library stock of about 4000 volumes of reference & textual books, and magazines, newspapers and journals are stocked. It also provides e-learning facilities, books and Wi-Fi internet connection so that clients are able to conduct research and learning online.

For practical training, the institute has two veterinary clinical complexes, one at Bhubaneswar and one at Parala, with an under-construction third veterinary clinical complex with all veterinary medicine, obstetrics & gynaecology, and surgery & radiology departments.

Mahatma Jyotiba Fule College of Veterinary and Animal Science offers one full-time course : Professional Courses: These courses are of 5 ½ years' duration spread over 9 semesters: Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B. V. Sc and A. H. ) . This extensive course lasts 6 years and offers skills in veterinary science that the students will need to practice animal care.

The college has an approved intake capacity of 100 seats for this programme, and the college management maintains the intake level to ensure a qualitative educational environment is provided to the students. Mahatma Jyotiba Fule College of Veterinary and Animal Science provides Admissions for all Hostel & A. H. courses through merit, through a competitive entrance examination. This evaluation may be conducted by the University, State Government or Veterinary Council of India for all candidates offering the examination so that the examination process and results are standard.

It implement the reservation policy regarding the Veterinary Council of India seats as per Government of India and the state of Rajasthan policy for the state quota seats. It known as being a pedagogy to ensure equity for students OFT with the general population while at the same time maintaining high standards.

Thus, the MJF College of Veterinary and Animal Science also attaches considerable importance to students’ additional activities as a part of their multiple development. Ample accommodation in a well-equipped sports centre caters for games such as badminton, cricket, football, hockey, basketball and handball.

The institution has a functional National Service Scheme (NSS) unit that promotes the culture of the students in offering their service to the community and other social publicity exercises. Furthermore, the college has a large hall for 500 people that is used for cultural activities, seminars or presentations.
