Mahaveer Institute of Engineering and Technology, popularly known as MIET, was established in the year 2010 at Meerut in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Location: Pohali, Sardhana Road, Meerut; Type: co-ed Institute. Its aim and mission include providing quality engineering education. MIET Meerut is an affiliated college, looking forward to striving very hard to achieve a highly rich learning environment.

The MIET Meerut has a host of facilities that help make this campus a great place to spend time. The College Library is one of the premier institutions serving as the backbone for any academic course. It houses over 10,000 titles on different subjects and 20,000 volumes. It also subscribes to 125 national and international journals that would help students remain updated about the latest research and knowledge.

The IT infrastructure of the institute is one of the finest, making sure that the students are fully prepared for the digital era. Regarding extracurricular activities, MIET has to its credit a sprawling auditorium with a capacity of 500 seats, ideal for various academic and cultural programmes. The sports lovers would like the vast playgrounds and other facilities for different types of sporting activities.

The college also provides decent hostel facilities for both boys and girls. This is an Affiliated College of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. This institute has focused on providing undergraduate programmes in engineering which would meet the diversified interests and career objectives of the students. Currently, MIET Meerut offers four B.

Listed are the programmes on offer: Tech programmes - Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering , Computer Science, and Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering . These programmes are full-time courses that enable a student to be theoretically as well as practically competent in the job market.

The admission to MIET, Meerut, is so structured that the process of admission becomes fair and all-inclusive so that the meritorious aspiring engineers get a fair and adequate opportunity. UPCET is accepted for B. Pharma by the Institute. This line of action draws its justification from common practices prevalent in admissions to several engineering courses across India.
