Mahitosh Nandy Mahavidyalaya Admission 2026

Mahitosh Nandy Mahavidyalaya, set up in Jangipara of Hooghly District, West Bengal, has created a simple and hassle-free admission procedure for the benefit of students. The college has been continuously upgrading its infrastructure and academic facilities, keeping in view the educational requirements of the local people in this remote area.

For admission into the undergraduate programmes, candidates need to have passed the 10+2 level from a recognised board. Mahitosh Nandy Mahavidyalaya offers several BA (Bachelor of Arts) programmes, both general and honours. The other courses may have specific eligibility criteria for each honours programme, but in general, a good academic record in relevant subjects would be required at the 10+2 level.

As an affiliated college, Mahitosh Nandy Mahavidyalaya's admission criteria are laid down by the parent university. The college does not conduct its own entrance examination; rather, normally, admissions are granted based on marks scored in the qualifying examination (10+2) plus other criteria directed by the parent university or state education department.
