The privately-owned, Malla Reddy Dental College for Women, Hyderabad, was started in 2013, offers quality education and aims to provide the dental education only for women. This affiliated college is situated in Suraram, Hyderabad which is approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI) for maintaining better standard of education.

The college has a large physical facility, 5-acre campus, and it has only one undergraduate programme, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). The institute takes a total of 400 students and 91 members of the faculty so, student-teacher ratio remains consistent which helps to establish good contact between the students and the teachers.

Malla Reddy Dental College for Women strives to improve the quality of education it offers through availing up-to date facilities. The library provides a good collection of newspapers, articles and books related to dental science, good IT facilities for e-learning and well equipped practical demonstrations rooms and labs. The Malla Reddy Dental College for Women has only one course and that is the 5 year integrated course which is the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course. This is a full-time course which has an approved intake capacity of One Hundred seats for which the institute is rightly famed for quality dental education.

The BDS programme is aimed to ensure that the students have received adequate theoretical background and gain practical skills necessary to shape bright future in the sphere of dentistry. The teaching-learning activities of the college are well planned and organised according to the course curriculum developed by the Dental Council of India.

The admission procedure of Malla Reddy Dental College for Women is totally merit which clearly describes that how admission take place in the college. In order to become a candidate for admission in this college aspiring candidates have to clear the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET-UG ) which is the only entrance examination accepted by the college.

Admissions at the institute follow a set academic calendar formulated and reviewed by regulatory authorities and normally occurs in months after the NEET is conducted. The college provides a remarkable policy of students’ diversity and women’s participation in dentistry, as 100% of the student body consist of females.

However, the college is yet to be selective on its students’ intake since 86% of the students are from within state, 11% are from other states, 3 % are international students implying that the college has a culturally diverse environment for learning. Scholarship support from the college is also available to support deserving members of the college.

Malla Reddy Dental College for Women offers financial support through scholarships for deserving students. For the academic year 2023: Undergraduate: 165 out of 500 students received reimbursements or scholarships. Postgraduate: 6 out of 34 students received financial support. These scholarships are aimed at supporting meritorious students and those from economically weaker sections.
