Affiliated college Mangalore Marine College and Technology (MMCT) was established in 2012 located at Mangalore in Karnataka. AICTE recognised institution offering three courses in engineering discipline forming its key area of operation. MMCT located in a small area of 1 acres is an institution which is dedicated to deliver good technical education.
The college has adequate faculty members as it has 26 members out of which student ratios are easily managed. With the thrust area in marine engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science engineering, MMCT offers a plethora of engineering dreams. Mangalore Marine College and Technology provides numerous amenities as below in order to ensure a comfortable stay of students.
The college offers accommodation facilities separately for boys and girls which facilitate staying of students from other towns. A rich equipped library plays the role of abacus of all knowledge procured in form of books, journals, periodicals, CDs, etc. In as much as regard to physical fitness of the students, there is a gym for the students within the campus.
The college has vested importance in health and this is supported by a medical room and readily available medical officers. Students can play different indoor and outdoor games, tennis, basket ball, cricket, foot ball etc with in the college playground which is very vast. The IT facilities are well developed that includes multiple computerised labs with Internet connection.
A cafeteria provides different, clean foodstuffs for eating; an auditorium with up to date facilities provides various functions. It also facilitates transport facilities to avail transport to students and staff who come from various regions of Mangalore.
