Manorama College, Gadag, established in 2008, is an affiliated college situated in Vidya Nagar, Masari, Gadag District, Karnataka. These are undergraduate programmes within the scope of business and computer applications. At present, there are 219 learners in the college and is served by a fortunate of 13 faculty members. Manorama College provides three full-time degree programmes.
The programmes offered are the three-year degrees that are Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com), and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). Manorama College, Gadag (established in 2008), is affiliated with Karnataka University , Dharwad and offers undergraduate programmes in BBA, BCA, and B. Com. It is approved by the Government of Karnataka.
In additionm, there are number of facilities available for the students in the Manorama College which will definitely improve the experience of learning. One major strength of the college is its information technology resources and services and it possesses a computer laboratory capable of serving the needs of today’s competitive market.
All of the systems in the entire laboratory network are connected in Local Area Network (LAN) and can run in Linux and also Windows-XP. These are mainstream computers that come packed with useful application for database and networks, programming and visuals required for both the course work and projects.
All sections of the college building are connected to the Internet, which means that students can easily surf the net. In regard to physical development, the college provides sporting amenities to enhance a balance between sports and academic work. Auditorium is useful to accommodate events and seminars to support campus activities and encourages the community.
The college teaches three undergraduate courses, all of which are full-time courses. These include BBA , B. Com and BCA all undergraduate courses make sure that the students gets equipped with the right knowledge as required in the market. The total student intake of the college is said to be 15. The admission could be merit based on academic performance in qualifying exams or a direct admission process.
