Mantram Teacher's Training College, Udaipur

Mantram Teacher’s Training College was established in 2007, is one of the premier Teacher’s Training College located at Udaipur Rajasthan. This is an affiliated college that has been approved by National council for Teacher Education(NCTE) offering teachers education programme. The college is located on a small piece of land of 3 acres allowing it to provide a perfect environment to budding educators.

In terms of enrolment, Mantram Teacher’s Training College conducts a student enrolment of 387 with a coeducational status which opens equal opportunities for admission of male and female student in any course of their teaching careers. Mantram Teacher’s Training College has a variety of infrastructures that improve the learning atmosphere of the college to the learners.

This center may be described as a rich resource point for students as well as members of the faculty. The college also offers students special laboratories: psychological, scientific, and audiovisual, which are so necessary for students who are preparing to become teachers.

For activities and programmes conducted outside the class rooms the college provides an auditorium and the facilities for games like ground for games such as Kabbadi and Kho-Kho and also indoor games like carom. The campus also comprises of a canteen, health centre with with first aid facilities and a gym to see to the all round aspect of a student.

The Mantram Teacher’s Training College enshrines two full-time programmes in teacher education. The college offers admission up to 200 seats for Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and 50 seats for the Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed). These programmes aim at preparing the students with all the essential factors in order to allow them to become educational personnel in different levels within the system.

The admission policy of Mantram Teacher’s Training College has competitive intake policy which is in compliance with the policies of the state government. General admissions for the B. Ed programme are made after the end of the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) so that more competent candidates are offered the programme.
