Maruthi College of Education, Attur, established in the year 2007 is affiliating college blessed with a collegiate campus in Salem Tamil Nadu. This is a co-educational institution which has been Recognised by National Council for Teacher Education [NCTE]. The college offers two full-time courses: Faculty of Education offers a four year Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) programme and Two year Master of Education (M.

Ed) programmes and has a total student capacity of one hundred and forty-two. The college enrols 18 faculty members who are committed educators to ensure a favourable student-teacher ratio in order to enhance learning. Maruthi College of Education also has different facilities that may help the students in scholastic as well as personal development.

There is a rich equipped library that has the role of a knowledge base, and the intended ICT Centre, which can accommodate twenty students to develop their digital literacy. The use also puts adds to the development of communication skills that are vital in preparing educators of the future.
