Marwar Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, (MIT Jodhpur) is an institute of higher education set up in 2010. It is an institute situated in Jodhpur, Rajasthan and is at Highway No 112, Kharda Bhandu, Barmer Road. At present, the institute offers five B. Tech programmes all of which are study programmes with a duration of four years and are full-time.
The institute has a faculty of 8 members and intended to deliver quality education in the era of engineering and technology. MIT Jodhpur offers its students with numerous facilities. The institute has well stocked multi-media library where students can get all types of study material and books.
Each academic department provides laboratory facilities so that students can gain practical experience in the range of disciplines they learn. The campus also contains an auditorium for events including seminars and serves as an environment for learning.
There is a cafeteria for students and personnel services that provide food for people, and there is a health centre which contains a first aid kit for people from the territory of the institution. They include sports facilities and excellent information technology infrastructure as components that the institute provides for sports and overall student development.
For the visiting faculty and for the students’ families, there are guest house and waiting room amenities respectively. For its B. Tech programmes, the institute possible total of five programmes and they are all full-time programme. These programmes include major engineering disciplines therefore, the students are equipped with great knowledge in their chosen areas.
These are the undergraduate programmes at MIT Jodhpur: Civil Engineering , Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering , Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering . The objective of each of these programmes is to provide the student with requisite knowledge and skills comprehensible in the respective areas.
